The Whalley bells were recast by John Taylor & Co, Loughborough in March of 1924 as a new peal of 8 bells. Having been well used for the last 100 years, the bells started to show signs of wear and tear. A project was successfully completed in 2024, the bell centenary year, to refurbish the bells and also fit sound control to the tower.
